I can't believe it is the last week of school. I am really going to miss this group of talkers. We developed a great bond as we worked together this year. The students have made so many improvements and I'm very proud of each of them. We are still finishing up our Barebooks, which are going to be great. Today was the orchestra assembly, art folders will come home - they have done some wonderful art, and tonight is the school carnival; Tuesday we have a guest coming to discuss electrical safety, we are taking a walking field trip to the Aspen Meadows Park, tote trays will be coming home to clean and return; Wednesday is Field Day from 1-3 - students need to make sure they bring a towel in case they get wet; Thursday we are cleaning the room; Friday is the awards assembly at 10:00. School lets out at 12:30 on Friday, and since the students are used to eating earlier than that, they are encouraged to bring a sack lunch and we will have a fun little picnic out on the lawn.
This will probably be my last blog this school year. I will try to keep it up during the summer for those who would like to follow what I'm doing. (I actually have a life outside of school!) Thanks to everyone for a great year, I have mixed feelings about it coming to an end. I really love these kids. TTFN.
