Wrapping It Up!

CRT Testing is finished - yea!  State Fair is over and was quite successful.  Thanks to all the parents who came and those who helped in other ways. We are now winding up the year writing books.  Each student writes, illustrates, and publishes a book.  This will be their final project of the year.  The "Barebook" is an empty, hard-bound book that takes lots of editing to get it just right.  We do a "dummy book" first so they can make sure everything is right before the put together the final product. This is, once again, quite a lot of work, but well worth the effort. Students are really excited when they see the final book come together.  So even though the end of the year is almost here, we are still working very hard (but I promise to have fun, too).
