Happy Thanksgiving

We have been reading Molly's Pilgrim, which is a book about a little girl who's family came to the United States for religious freedom. The students have been learning that we should celebrate and enjoy the differences in all of us. In the book, the students were given clothes pins and assigned to make either a Pilgrim or Indian. I made a similar assignment letting them choose how to make their own "doll" as well whether to make a Pilgrim or Native American. This is a picture of the student's wonderful creations.
