Just a note so you will know - I will be out of school on April 21, 22, & 23, but not for fun this time.
I've been having some issues with my shoulder, so I had an MRI and then went to an orthopedic speciality doc at TOSH. I have tendonitis and bursitis which have created an impingement of the rotator cuff and finally resulted in a frozen shoulder. I'm having a surgical procedure done next week. It's called a shoulder manipulation. They put me totally out and then move it around breaking loose all of the tendons that are causing the problem. OUCH!!! Then they will stuff it full of cortisone. He said they have to put me out because otherwise my body would not allow them to do the procedure. Then I will have intensive physical therapy every day, starting that very day, to keep it moving. He wanted me to take a week off, but we settled on 3 days off work and then the weekend. Hopefully after a few days of horrible pain it will start getting better. Sounds fun, huh?
