Week of October 27th - 30th

This is going to be a rather hectic week.  Since it is the end of the marking period, all assignments should have all ready been turned in.  I am, however, waiting for a few stragglers before I finished grades.  I've discussed with the students that I don't give them their grades, they "earn" them.  Now is the time to start improving and working harder towards next term.  Actually, they have all done really quite well.  

This week is a short week with no school on Friday and Thursday is a short day.  The Halloween parade is on Thursday at 9:00 and the party right after lunch at  12:30.  Students are welcome to wear costumes to school.  Just a reminder: no masks in class and no weapons of any kind.

Next Wednesday and Thursday are Parent Teacher Conferences.  I am sending home notes today, Monday. scheduling your conference time.  If you need to change, please let me know as soon as possible and I will try to accommodate you the best I can.  I am scheduling some times earlier in the afternoon on Thursday.  Thank you for all your help and cooperation.  Please know you can always contact me at 944-2973 or email me at paula.barney@jordan.k12.ut.us
